Vintage Small Low Kang Table in Yellow bell for increased creativityThis small Chinese low table originates in the Gansu Province of China and was made in the 1930s. Known as a Kang table, this distinctive style of small table was used on a Kang, a type of raised platform found in the north of China. The Kang was a heated platform used for sleeping and these small tables acted as a way to use the space for making or writing. This vibrant yellow table has recently been lightly restored in an artisan workshop in Beijing
